Android version 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich

Hi, Newbie here!
I have recently had my phone updated the android version to 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich. Is there anyway I can downgrade it to the original version? I do not like this. I dont know if anyone else has experienced this, but I find the phone crashes alot - at least 2-3 times a day. It never crashed before.
I am using Samsung Galaxy S2

Any help and advise will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

If it was an over the air update on say a Droid X I don't think you can. They got like a different boot loader or something. I used to hate ICS but they have refined it to where even those accustomed to gingerbread can get used to it. I still don't like the disjointed settings menu that forces me to go landscape mode but the system is the best yet to me, now if they could get the UI smoother. Seeing choppy transitions bugs the living daylight out of me...supposed I am just spoiled by my iPad

Some upgrades place a crappy launcher and theme, this can be undone by going to play store or whichever market you prefer and downloading a replacement...
