I am totally new to this type of technology...I have the MetroPcs Samsung Galaxy Indulge. I was wondering if anyone knows if I need to purchase a memory card to use to get Netflix to work on the phone? I was under the impression that it came with a preinstalled memory card...Also, why won't my camera work? I can't even take a picture from one of my FB albums to make as a phone screensaver...:confused:
 
I had netflix and I don't remember needing a memory card to use it. Did it came with the sd card with Ironman 2? I switched with a bigger one and had no problem...as far as your camera goes I don't know why is not taking pictures.
 
Thanks. I just wanted to be sure before I pay for netlfix that I don't have to go out and buy a card. Yes my phone came with Iron man on it. As for the camera, when I try to take a pic it says "insert memory card to use camera". I have a refurbished phone I'm wondering if they sold it to me without the preloaded card.

Maybe it's set up to save on SD car, take a look at the settings
 
If you bought your indulge new then its suppose to come with a 4GB memory card with iron man on it which takes up about 2GB.

As for netflix it doesn't need a memory card.
 
I wouldn't think Netflix requires an SD card, but I don't really know. As to whether or not you have an SD card - I would take off the back cover and look.
 
you bought a used indulge if it dosnt already have a micro sd memory card in it and perhaps the previous owner kept the card. and ofcourse u dont need a memory card to stream videos geeze ur not downloading any video ur streaming which in a way it does need space to buffer the contents but does not require much space since its only temporary space.
 
I work for a Metro Pcs authorized dealer and I've heard this question alot. No you don't need an SD Card to run netflix. But in order to take and save pictures you need one. I would actually advise against keeping the original SD card that comes with the phone. Metro actually has hidden spyware on them and it transmits information about how the owner is using the phone back to metro. Just a heads up.
