if you ask me it seems that all the other android versions get all the cool widgets and home screens. Like motoblur has all its cool messageing widgets, android sence has the very cool analog clock that has the weather and stuff on it. I got the motorola droid in march so now there's the droid incredible by htc and it has the most awsome analog clock widget. I been looking at themes and widgets on the market place that look simaler but nothing was just exacty like them.

There are many apps that let you change the theme of your phone and have many widgets very similar to the HTC themes. Open home is one of those apps, here is a screenshot of a HTC open home theme:

The clock is pretty freaking similar if you ask me. Also, don't envy every phone that comes out or you will drive yourself crazy. Android phones are coming out right and left and you may not have the very latest and greatest at every point in time but the idea of that is completely unrealistic to begin with.

Has anyone had trouble with the weather app after upgrading to 2.1 ? I noticed that when I was running 1.5, I could click on the weather screen and it brought me to a more descriptive web page with extended forecasts. I can't do that anymore.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

is it possible to port the motoblur widgets so you can download them on a non motoblur phone?

Look in the market - there are many widgets that have come pretty close to copying those you may see on the other phones. You can also look to root your phone so that you can load a rom that has some of the features you want.

you have to root the phone and use an app called shootme, theres guides in the relevant forum sections =)
