ROMs Android x86 repo init: Connection Refused on port 80

Hi, I'm trying to build the lollipop branch of Android x86 on ubuntu 14.04

The site asks me to run repo init -u https://git.android-x86.org/manifest -b lollipop-x86 but when I do, I keep getting a "Connection Refused" error. I've tried using https and git instead of http, and sudo doesn't recognise the command. I anyone else having this problem?

Have you chevk if the comnand is correct and all fikes for it to work installed to make that command work?

Yeah, I have. I've grabbed the source for Android before so I have all the stuff installed

I'm trying to make Lollipop x86. I assumed the kernel would be included in the repo.

Yea you csn use mu.lollipop v5.1 kernel but what device ur porting it too

OK, after a LOT of research, I found out that the Git server for the project has actually gone down.
I guess I'll have to wait until the guy either fixes it or moves to GitHub.
