Help Android ZTE MAX power button does not work

Is there a question? If it cannot be powered up, you either have to repair it or replace it. Sorry about the data.

Its on I can't power it down to restart without loss of data power button Dont work but its on but once the screen times out someone has to call me or I have to stick it on the charger to use it

Please use proper punctuation. Your run-on sentences make little sense. I still see no question.
What is it you want?

Can you open the case and see if the button is just stuck?

So from what you're describing it does sound like you need to take your phone to have the power switch repaired or replaced. Hopefully it's just something like the metal contacts inside the switch itself just need to be cleaned or maybe there's something like lint inside. This could be fixed by just using some aerosol contact cleaner. But if it's a matter of the switch needing to be replaced that's a lot more involved.

Since you can still use your phone, before you do take it somewhere now is the time to backup your data. Make sure your mail, contacts, and calendar info are synced with your mail service. back up whatever SMS texting you have, and all the photos, videos, and other files are backed up online and/or to a computer.

As others have stated it is GREAT that you can still access all your data. You should go into settings and turn on all the built-in auto-sync/backup settings you can, make sure you're connected to Wi-Fi, and then while connected to your computer via USB, drag and drop all the files from your phone into a folder on your desktop. Don't forget that your phone and any MicroSD card in your phone will be located in two different folders, so make sure you copy both.

FYI - I just updated the title of your thread to get better and more accurate feedback.
