If your having android 2.2, can you upload it to 3.0?

I don't believe so. Android 3.0 is Honeycomb and Google isn't releasing the source code because they don't want people putting Honeycomb on phones, it's meant for tablets only.If your having android 2.2, can you upload it to 3.0?

Android 4.0 should be different in that it brings together the tablet and phone versions of the Android OS. Google have stated that they plan to release the source code for Android 4.0 so the manufacturers and ROM developers will have it at their disposal. I do know that htc have stated they are looking into bringing Android 4.0 to some of their current phones and I doubt the ROM devs will pass it up.
