Do you know where on the device you wish to push the files? If it's just to the SD card, then mount the card in disk drive mode when you connect the phone and copy as you would to a usb stick.

If you want to write to other storage elements you need to learn to use adb, which is part of the SDK tools. "adb push" is what you are after.
