[Android Question]

I want a screen recorder with no root and no PC for nexus 7

[Mr. Lucky]

None of the no-root screen recorder apps support the Tegra processor family. The only solution I can see is to root, or use a screen sharing app like VNC to get your video onto a pc… and then you can record the video on the pc using something like Microsoft Expression Encoder 4.

Thanks for the link, unfortunately every time you restart your phone the app needs to be re-installed. In addition this recorder ( as Mr. Lucky stated) is not compatible with the Tegra line of processors. In addition this is a paid app with very few reviews, which leaves me very weary.

Many screen recorders do not work with Tegra processors, but Recordable does. There's a free version available if you want to try it out:

Unfortunately that app requires you to reinstall it on every reboot (using a computer to install the apk). It's great if you need to record something one time though. Personally I recommend if you need that functionality just root the phone
