Help AndroidOS used 7gb in a day

So today while my phone was not in use i managed to use over 15gb of data over 7gb was used by android os the other 7 by chrome. Chrome was not running in my recent apps my question is what could of used this much data and how can i stop it. This data was measured on my phones tracker. Phone is s7 running latest version.

Try calling your carrier. With the latest update, the phone and apps were reporting 7GB usage, but my carrier was reporting 900mb used.
