Hello all... just traded my HTC Desire for the VERY AWESOME Samsung Mesmerize. Wow... What a difference .3 inches can make. 
Anyway, looks like good and plentyful information is going to be a problem for us. For those of us who like to tinker... We are in BAD shape. I am sure that there will be next to no development for this device. 
But, as long as you can get root... we should be OK. I have got root on my device already. Anyone who wants can go to the market and get "z4root". May want to run after a fresh reboot. As it hung up on me the first time. Works well though. Then you can get some things like "setcpu" to overclock and send your phone into overdrive. 
I will be posting to this thread as I learn more about this phone. Only had about 12 hours. Anyway, if ya got a GOOD tip... post it here.
