Google has just released Android's distribution numbers for April and things are looking better for Marshmallow.
While not completely at 5% yet, Marshmallow now takes up 4.6% of active Android devices. Next up we have Lollipop with 25.8%, KitKat with 33.4%, Jelly Bean with 21.3% Ice Cream Sandwich with 2.2%, Gingerbread with 2.6% and Froyo is still kicking with 0.1%.
