this is the situation, my girlfriend has kyocera zio that she dropped in the toilet on Friday the 14 of Oct., and from her dropping it, she blow dried it off and it still worked fine no problem. so later on Monday afternoon her phone started roaming and wouldn't dial out and wouldn't let her place calls nor receive so we did a factory reset and after her phone never came back on it, get stuck at the kyocera sign. Now i know this isn't a zio site but i really really am looking for some help plz... i have the androidsdk file and downloaded the m6000 driver for her phone and also got the adb working, only thing that's stopping me is this stupid file (adbwinapi.dll) i don't know how to install it and my computer say it is missing. somebody please help me figure this out.....

try putting a copy of that file under c:/windows/system32.

Wait what are you trying to accomplish with the SDK? Android SDK is just for building apps isnt it? Or well thats what Im using it for in conjunction with Eclipse.

they telling me i have to use it order to put CWM on my girl phone, she has a sanyo zio or i could try a hard reset it and reset but if i cant figure this adbwinapi.dll out im never gonna fix her phone and she dont have the money for a new one

ok now here's another problem im running into,i have everything i need working but its not working... it says waiting on the device. i put the device in fast-boot as i was told and every-time i tried it says waiting for device.... what do i do? right now im trying to flash clockworkmod for the zio, can anybody research this and let me know what im doing wrong thanks, and thank you other guys for the comments and concern.

yes, it goes into fastboot mode and nothing else happens i connect my usb cable and open the command prompt and input the following as provided to get CWM: cd/ then the next line i put cd CWM and then it go to c:\CWM\ then i put fastboot boot clockwork-recovery.img and then it goes to waiting for device and still nothing happens and just stay on that waiting for device screen. if i can just install the cricket rom i would love to do that, anyone know of a way to do so with the zio.

by the way i have the zio rom for cricket already all i need is the proper instructions to install it.

i found everything i needed and flashed her phone with a new rom provided by kyocera zio,her phone is no longer a brick, it doesnt get stuck on the kyocera logo anymore it booted up and i was happy as f**k, i fixed my girl phone and her face just lit up, thank you everyone and you all comments.
