Root Animations

Can animations be disabled? Or replaced with 1 frame anims? I like for everything to pop, Smooth transitions are annoying lol. I havent searched this yet, wondering if anyone had anything on hand

Depends what launcher you use, on nova launcher it's nova settings > look and feel > app animation == system settings. What launcher are you using, or are you using sense? If you want then you can use a third party launcher.

Yeah i'm on sense launcher, I'm kind of addicted to sense. For 2 widgets [4x1 weather clock, music], for vertical scrolling app drawer [which others have], unread counts, etc. I fiend for these features everytime I go non-sense

also no lock screen before calls, and lock screen shortcurts. just seems to run better so i guess i better deal with the anims for it

widgets are easily replacable by getting identical ones from the market...
especially sense widgets which has more duplicates for other launchers available than i can count....

holo launcher has unread counts but you would have to go pro... not sure about other launchers having this feature...

they all do that i know of if you upgrade to pro, and the sense clock widget is garbage looking, and i havent found a replica of the sense music one. nothing that looks/functions the same :\

Widger locker is app for lock screen shortcuts, it have plenty of launchers with vertical & horizontal app drawers and unread(messages, calls, email, etc) count, and plenty of sense like widget apps in the play store.

If you want your phone to pop, put a firecracker under it.

Uhm. I THINK if you have Rom Toolbox Pro you can change animations...But don't quote me there. I'd check around and see what the app offers before you purchase it, just to make sure it will do what you want.

Though there is a free version on the market I think (Or there was last I looked...) so you can see if you want to go pro with it or not...
