Anime/Manga not so ultimate otaku Lounge

Hey guys i just watched Another (i wait til animes are complete to watch them except Naruto) and wow was that badass :D

I think bringing him back would be too late to save it :frown: I am thinking that it was initially planned for there to be the 7 days before the attack but now it has been cut to 2 so if we initially had 7 months left it could be cut to 2...yeah I know way over simplifying it but the series lost steam at the time skip and never picked back up...I think we are seeing this rushed because they plan on ending it soon...bringing him back would just make more loose ends that may not get tied up
 
bleach tanked ,the moment aizen was off the radar . I loved the time skip and also I like the fullbring . Kubo just doesnt have the space he need to exert his creative muscles .
nstead of the rumored 3-5 years ,bleach will continue for one year max IMO ...
 
Frankly I hate the drastic changes in character artwork for Bleach anime, into the Fullbring arc.

Orihime's face absolutely can't grow up to look like that - and don't even get me started on the shinigamis. Whoever thought that the women's eyes all needed to look like throw-backs to the decadence of early-war Berlin ought to be taken to the balcony without a blindfold.

BTW - ok to laugh and point - but if you just want some thoughtful down time, or ideas for new stories - or just want to appreciate cultural differences - check out Folktales from Japan, now on CR.

Something for the child in all of us. ;)
 
I saw the preview for Folktales...looked interesting...

Personally I didn't mind the time jump in Bleach but I only read the manga. The time skip in Naruto saved the series for me I was ready to bow out before it happened.

Watched the first two eipsodes of Dusk Maiden of Amnesia...seems to be pretty good...hope it keeps up...

Gonna check out Mysterious Girlfriend X see if it is any good...I have added a bunch of the simulcast shows to my queue now that there are a few episodes out of each.
 
This one is Yuuka from Dusk Maiden of Amnesia.

Mysterious Girlfriend X was alright I guess kinda a love story of sorts not really what I normally watch but I will likely keep watching it. Watching Leiji Matsumoto's OZMA right now...pretty good...space opera with a twist.
