anker battery replacement

Lurker
i don't work for anker, i don't work for a retailer, i'll just get that out of the way. (I know this is my 2nd post)

i got the anker 1900mah battery thinking if i get just few more hours out of it i'd be happy. WOW -i've done two cycles, the first was 26 hours; battery then at 19%. a full charge at 5pm yesterday and 12 hours later (overnight) i'm at 91%. Both charges were done with the anker charger. next time i'll charge it in the phone and check the difference. report to follow.

its nice to see that the reviews online are pretty much spot on.

Are you using stock ROM? Have you tried the battery with more power demand like the Midnight?

Stock rom, i've only had it for a week. the only possible draw i've turned off is vibration.
today the charge is 47% after 21h 27m 24s. this is better than the optimus v i replaced.

I have a laza extended battery it is pretty great I can use my phone constantly and it will last the entire day on extreme heavy usage. It also doesn't make the phone super bulky it adds a little hump though. I ordered a tpu case and cut it now it fits fine. The hump even makes it easier to grip. :D

i also bought a anker batttery. got it from amazon, but it doesn't look like the one pictured in their website. the one listed on their website is mostly white with green and blue. the one i received is white with dark blue. did anyone else receive this one, how has the performance been?
Could be older or newer stock.

I have the white and blue, no date on the battery but it does have a sn#
i couldn't be happier. i charged over usb this time and the duration seems the same. i thought maybe the supplied charger had a better circuit, now i don't think thats the case. the charger is very flexable in its ability to charge many li ion batteries if thats of interest.

i actually looked on thier website, and the white and dark blue battery is on their home page but i haven't really seen any performance worth bragging about and the way ppl review it on amazon makes me think im missing out. maybe these are the newer ones like you said, but im just wondering what type of perfomance ppl have gotten out of these compared to the blue/green ones. maybe these aren't as good. :(

so i take it your getting some extra juice out of this battery compared to the original? i've only had it a small time and haven't noticed too much of a difference. maybe i gotta give it some more cycles.

You have to remember, it's only about 15% capacity increase and only then if you charge it fully. It's not going to work miracles and you may not even notice it, especially if you ware watching.

What I usually do is in the morning when I wake up, reboot while still on the charger, then let it sit until full again. By the time you are ready to leave it will probably be full.

When these battery charge they get full while warm, charging stops. It doesn't start again until it has dropped a few percent or if it is manually told to charge. By rebooting, you kick in that charge cycle, plus you clear out anything running in the background. Doing this with an Anker battery can get you 25% more than normally charged stock battery, and that is a noticeable amount.
