Anniversary

I read all comments and I silently gonna steer myself out of this thread. :p
I'm in my 3rd marriage now (8 years and counting) which, funny enough, is with my high school sweetheart. She too got married and divorced and we found each other by accident after 30+ years of not seeing each other, in a government building (she works for the government and I was doing a surveillance job for the city I was visiting). She said: nice to see you again. We should get together for coffee some time. I replied: Friday afternoon is good for you? And we have been together ever since :D

My sister is on her third marriage. She has been married to #3 quite some time now. It wasn't that the first two guys were a bad sort. I liked them and she loved them. But, they just weren't Mr right. Life is too short to be unhappy. Good luck with your childhood sweetheart and I think it's cool that you reconnected.

Me and my wife celebrate our 28th anniversary back in June. What irritates me is you have these people who call it quits after a few months or a year or two and people act like it's a national tragedy

Congrats on 28 years.

Living together prior to marriage was just not heard of when my parents were dating and quite rare when I was dating. 50 years later it's not uncommon at all to test the winds before setting sail. I would think that a trial run to confirm compatibility should drastically decrease the short term marriages.

Amen, I also think that too, it is uncommon to test all the winds before setting sail, that is what I have been doing with my best friend, Mimi, who has been with me throughout thick and thin, she is my sister. :)
