The ads that coverup the screen, and require a mouse click are too invasive and annoying.

The sidebar, and bottom bar ads are okay, necessary ..

I don't ever remember seeing an ad cover the entire screen before, or require a click.

I think OP may be talking about the ads that say "brought to you by phandroid.com" that require you to click the x to get out of it as it dims the rest of the Web page.

I've experienced that one a handful of times on the very few that I've used the pc to access af.

We had a time when those popped up on phone browsers, which was much worse (it was quite hard to hit the tiny close button).

That I do remember, there still are some sites that it does that to me (not af anymore) each time you tried to zoom in the x always moved off the screen :banghead:
