Help annoying YouTube issue... How to get rid of the gray icon.

I am having a very annoying issue with YouTube. There is a gray icon in the middle when I play a youtube video. It looks like it is sending the video to a tv. I am on a blue tooth headset. But it happens without blue tooth as well.

Please advise
 
Hey we need some help to help you with this problem can you get a photo or video of this issue cause i never seen or heard of such . But i can say YouTube does has some strang things happen. .you can reset the application data and cache and try it again . That fixes most of mines
 
I saw this pop up in a video that I watched from a Facebook link yesterday and found it odd (and more than a little annoying). Not only was the grey icon visible (it looked like the RSS symbol and a rectangle) it also seemed to make the entire video darker. I could find no way to get rid of it.

Fortunately, it seemed to be a one-time thing for me. Going straight into YouTube I do not get that. Maybe it's some sort of Facebook thing? If I see it again I'll take a screen snap shot and upload it.
 
It must be a bug from a recent update. I just went back in to show someone my daughter's Dunkin Donuts commercial and it was there. So then I played around with it a bit looking for a way to shut it off or at least trigger it and it seems that if I just go out of YouTube using the home button and go back in it's still there. But if I get out using the Back button several times and then go back in with the phone in portrait (vertical) mode it's fine and nothing is there. But the second I rotate the phone to landscape (horizontal) the icon shows up. Use home button and back in, it's still there regardless of orientation. Use back button to get all the way out and go back in and it's gone in portrait.

Weird. I'm sure they'll fix it shortly. Damn updates. They always break something!

Was you using a moded YouTube app. If so it may be something the dev may have put in it . This is why i don't use the special mod YouTube apps . Don't want someone watching me while i am watching a YOUTUBE video.
 
Yep, just checked the Play app store and there are several complaints about this since the last update. I'm sure there will be a fix soon.
 
The icon you are seeing is so you can put your youtube onto a tv screen. Its some kind of a glitch in the Note 3 and very annoying. If you turn off your bluetooth and close out all your apps THEN relaunch youtube youll find that it is now gone. You can then restart bluetooth. But be warned the second you leave youtube and go back with bluetooth turned on yahhhh its there again :(
