Another battery issue with Maps (when not in use)

I hope someone can help. I tried to search but I couldn't really find anything that helped.

My Maps app has been taking 60+% of my battery life since yesterday. I don't know why--my GPS has always been toggled on for weeks and it never gave me this issue until yesterday. I haven't been using the Nav either. I don't know what's accessing my Maps.

I have Spare Parts and the Maps part for "sensor usage" is pretty much all blue. I also just downloaded the Helix Launcher (if that makes a difference) but this issue started before I downloaded that.

Touiteur and Facebook widgets are also running which I know drain my battery somehow but why would Maps appear as the culprit of battery drainage on Spare Parts (& also when I go to Battery Use under settings)?

I'm also using DroidMod 1.0 but I've been using that for almost a month.

Nevermind. I think it was a text to my friend that didn't send for two days. I rebooted, the text sent (2 days late to my friend's confusion!) and now Maps doesn't appear on my Battery Usage anymore.

Phew, I hope that was it... it was driving me crazy.
