Help Another bluetooth question

I have built in bluetooth in my car. I have no problem pairing my S3 but I have not been able to hear navigation through the car system without streaming bluetooth audio. I'd like to be able to listen to the radio and have the radio pause when navigation speaks directions I also have usb line in. Is this possible?

I have a Ford My Sync system and I have to change my settings on the system to connect to a media player and then the navi will play from the phone to my sync system you can also play pandora at the same time from your phone and it will do both at the same time works great the pandora will mute for the navi and them come back on when the navi is done

I have My Sync as well. Are you connecting via USB or Bluetooth? Will calls still come through as well?

BT and yes it works great. I have had problems with other phones in the past not staying connected to my sync system but this phone is spot on :)

I've been able to stream audio from my S3. I was hoping to play the car radio and have the nav cut in when needed.
 
I have not done that but the sync can only be on media player or radio for BT connection and the USB is more for maps picture updates I think.
