another data outage on verizon

hummm, i think 4G may be down again, both my phone and hotspot have lost 4G and i am in a very strong 4G area.

Just putting it out there!

Edit: Northern VA here and 3G is still going strong
 
I have 3g but 4g cannot authenticate (i can get white 4g with strong signal but doesn't turn blue and no data can be transfered)... in cambridge right now; will cross the river in a couple of hours :)

I had the 4g to 3g transition issue just a few minutes ago. As soon as I went from the 4g coverage area, no data and no 3g. Just full white bars and that is it. Had to change to cdma only, to get data back.
 
Over the last few days, i have been getting a LOT of data issues where data stops working, poor 4G to 3G transition (stops working) and now will show full bars, but no 1X, 3G or 4G icon. Zip.

I am just now rebooting, since the usual tricks (airplane mode, switch to CDMA) are not working now.

In fact, I went from viewing posts like this as a bystander with little to no problems, to having it a lot recently.

I've had similar instability that lasts for short periods maybe 5 minutes at a time. It's like they are making changes that are supposed to be non-disruptive or short enough outages that they don't think anyone will bitch about it.
