...from another newbie. Stupid as anything when it comes to technology and very glad to have found somewhere for some guidance.

One quick question: can anyone recommend a glossary where a technophobe can find the new meanings of terms like flashing (which my mother always told me was BAD) and rooting (which I always thought was rude)?

And flashing, in this context, is basically installing an Android firmware image onto the phone.
