Lurker
Hi forum,
Just got my first 'droid based phone:
Alcatel OneTouch-990 - O2-UK - Prepay service (and GiffGaff too).
A bit about my background:
I am a slackware/GNU-Linux enthusiast (known as 'dh2k' on official slackware forum LinuxQuestions.org/questions/slackware-14/)
Looking forward to using (and mod/hack/rooting) my device (once I have figured how to backup the firmware in case device has to be serviced repaired under warranty) -
Into useful apps - sat nav; offline maps;
Performance optmisation tweaks/hacks;
Looking to really throttle this entry-level droid phone - excellent buy BTW for
