Hi, I just bought an Orange San Francisco phone and am trying to find my way around the thing! Hopefully you kind folks can help me when I get some problems. The Orange network where I live is absolutely hopeless when I am inside my home so I have to use my Sky broadband wifi but of course can't seem to be able to get at any Apps through that.
Also I saw on here someone giving a link to the Android user guide (I think my San Francisco is only Android 2.1) but I have lost that link now so any help would be much appreciated.
Also need to learn how to stop apps working in the background. I haven't actually managed to get any to work yet. Even in town today I couldn't get much access to Orange to actually download any. Do I have to actually go into the settings showing the apps (was that in All programmes - I haven't got the phone with me at the moment) and actually click on the box with an X in to actually get the app to work or download?
By the way what does "Quiet Time" mean in the Email section? Sorry to sound so stupid but we all have to start somewhere.
