Another person scoping out Android...

I've been using Palms all along. The contract on my Sprint Palm Centro expires in 2 months (although I can upgrade on Sprint starting today). I always thought I'd jump on the Pre, but while it still does look really good, I have been thinking about how well an OS linked to one company will do vs. an OS that multiple platforms are using will do. Seems a more promising future, and more incentive for people to work with Android. I was leaning heavily towards the Hero, since I've been with Sprint for over 10 years and haven't had too much problems, but the Droid is really captivating. Wonder if HTC is working up an answer for it yet, and how long to get it on the market.

Anyway, found this site while doing my research, after reading so much, figured I should at least sign up.
