Another phone Samsung is kicking aside...

Im looking for a non 4g phone to replace my Moment with and was considering the Transform for a long time. I figured by the time I was ready to upgrade the Transform would have 2.2 and I would have a nice 3g android phone with the slide out keyboard feature that I really want.

Well, 6 months later, with the exception of the recently rooted version of 2.2 (that doesnt allow the front camera to work), people are still waiting for this update. Is it just me or does Samsung only care about consumers who haven't yet purchased a phone? I feel like once you get a phone and Samsung feels as if they've sold a decent amont of it or they're more interested in the next "latest and greatest", they could give a s*** about servicing the phones that are already on the market.

After making the data locked Moment and the downgrade Intercept, you would have thought they would smarten up. There are a million people waiting for this 2.2 update and I'm sorry to say this to everyone, but, I seriously doubt they're going to release one. For over 6 months everyone has had there hopes up saying "its coming soon" or "it should be here by 2011." Well todays February 1st and I think its safe to say your not getting 2.2 for your Transform.

Its unbelievable how they sell a phone to millions of people, promise the world and then abandon it completely. Everyone on here that is waiting for the 2.2 update or going to buy this phone because they think its getting 2.2, save yourself a lot of heartache and go buy an LG or HTC phone. Samsung doesnt seem to care about you once you've already committed to buying another one of their pos products.

By not putting out the 2.2 update, Samsung is either telling you "were too stupid to create a 2.2 version for the Transform" or "Even though we promised 2.2 not long after the phone was released, were busy doing other things and we dont really care what you want."
