I recently got the at&t gs3. Great phone but I'm having problems with the sd card. It's a sandisk ultra 64 gb microsdxc I got off of amazon. I formatted the card in the phone without issue then realized I couldn't mount the phone as a mass storage device without rooting (that sucks). So I took the card out and used an card adapter to hook it up to my computer. I xfered ~40gb of movies and files onto the card and put it back in my phone.
Now the phone is saying the card is damaged. I saw a few issues about damaged cards, so I took the card out again and ran chkdsk /r on it but didn't find any problems. The card works completely fine on my computer but not in my phone.
Is it a bad card? Can I do anything to save the card without reformatting? I don't feel like having to transfer all those files again. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
