Root Another question: Power down boot animations

Now I've found one that I want to use, can I just push the file over like I did with the opening boot anime, re-naming just the folder or do I need to extract the file and put them in there manually? I'm seeing in the power down anime folder on the phone for Basix has a file named shutdown.cfg the rest are named shutdown_1.png, shutdown_2...ect ect. In the one I want to replace it with the png files are named mons0001, mons0002, ect ect, but the new one doesn't have a .cfg file. Any help on how to or if you can even do this would be GREATLY appreciated...

Thanks, OrKo

I changed my shutdown animation before I installed basix. I got a program that turns giff files to png then I named them in order 1 2 3 and so on. I forgot which program I used but I know the first time I tried it, it didn't work. I had the android pissing on an apple. But you do have to name them exactly how the originals are named shutdown1 etc etc. Try just putting one image in the folder and name it the last number. You will be able to see it very briefly before the phone shuts off.

Cool, thanks I'll try that.
What about the og shutdown.cfg file, do I leave it in the folder? Because, I don't have one in the new anime zip.

I wouldn't mess with that... I think that's the script that tells the phone to read the png files in order????? instead of replacing the png files with new ones I would just move the ones that are there to your sd card via root explorer just in case it dosnt want to read certain types of pics.
