Hi all
Can someone please help me

My Hudl will no speak to me

When I press the microphone to ask a question it dos not ansour back

Like wise when I use Hangouts the person on the other end can hear me but I can't hear them when they talk to a

It could be a bad speaker, it could be a bad earphone jack, it could be a bad motherboard, it could ... That's why there are repair shops, for problems that don't have one single solution.

But everything works as it should do

Except the microphone

If as you say that the motherboard ect has gone then nothing would work

Or maybe I am wrong

I take it other apps have similar sound issues? Can you hear youtube videos etc?

Double check the volume is up, it sounds silly, but notification volume and media volume are 2 different things. When a video is playing, make sure the volume is at maximum,

Have you tried headphones?
 
Everything on the hudl works fine

Can play videos use earphones

All working fine

It is when you press the microphone on google to ask for something it dos not work

Same as hangouts I can talk to my Grandson but he can't talk to me back

He has to write on a piece of paper
Hold it up to the screen
