Root Anthrax kernal question

Is it weird that everytime I have an anthrax kernal running my phone randomly reboots sometimes? I'm running midnight rom and I'm s-off. Does anyone else experience this or is it my phone? Thanks in advance!

Have you tried either of the following?
-Upgraded to the latest kernel?
-Used an app such as "cpu master" to lower the frequency?

each phone is different..some handle the oc.. some can not..so even after you try every other option..delete mp decision..thermald.. delete init.d scripts...initpostboot....there is a chance your phone may still random reboot due to it not liking the overclock

Last time I installed Anthrax Kernel my phone couldn't be detected by my computer. Is there any updated version that someone can link me to? I registered for the Anthrax website and logged in but I can't seem to find it.

I'm currently running Anthrax 2.3.8 with MobsterROM 2.05. Runs like a dream. Not a single REBOOT to speak of. I was running Midnight ROM. I got a LOT of reboots on certain versions. Midnight ROM contains the latest Anthrax version typically. You can still register over at the Anthrax Forums and get the newest kernel to flash. There was a span of about 5 versions of Anthrax that caused Reboots for my phone. The newest ones seems much better, at least with my setup. When you install the kernel separately, you get to choose the min/max clock speeds, and enable/disable sweep to wake, ect... I typically just flash the kernel with the defaults that come up with no probs.

I actually switched to Mobsters after experiencing all the reboots with Midnight... although in actuality I think it was due to the version of the included kernel at the time. Try getting 2.3.8 from the Anthrax Forums... and see if it fixes your problems, or try Mobsters.

And my phone is detected via USB... think the USB hosting is also included in the newest kernels... [like for hooking up a flash drive, haven't tried yet tho]
