Anti virus for Android Tabs.

Hello,
I'm new to Android forum with recently bought Samsung galaxy Tab 7plus.
I need your help. Does my tab need an Anti-virus or internet security software to be installed. If so what software will be ideal for me. I'm a frequent internet user.

Even I do not use any Anti-virus myself
I think its Linux base hence there cannot be any virus in android !!
if u notice all the so called anti-virus softs available they just help in privacy protection and/or Device protection...
