You do not need anti-virus on your phone... I honestly don't know why they put that in the market, the only thing it'll do is slow down your phone and cause possible problems via interfering with normal operation of the OS. Just leave it be.

Glad you asked that cos I had wondered, but not actually done anything more than that. So a smart phone can't get a virus in the same way a pc can? What if you open a malicious email or click on a dodgy link on a web site?
