Any 1GHZ processor android phones coming to Tmobile US before September?

Ashido

Newbie
After having a fight over not being able to get the Nexus One (It's a long story) I decided to keep my G1 until I begin college which is in September. I really want to have a new phone before I go away, and I don't want to switch providers. Are there any other phones that have rivaling specs or even better than the nexus one on the horizon?

mytouch3g slide, dunno if its 1 ghz though. But its a nice slide out keyboard phone. If they wont update my cliq to 2.1 at all then i will be using my next upgrade for mytouch slide I think.

SuperSonic... Looks like the Leo, but Android... Coming soon... June/July from what I hear... They are working hard to get it ready.

the samsung galaxy S is due, depending on rumor, either june or july

has 1ghz chipset, with the hummingbird gpu which is supposed to be 3X faster, graphics wise, than the next best smartphone, the iPhone

use your google fu to research it - has some pretty interesting specs, super amoled screen (much more efficient so longer battery life and better visibility in sunlight - there are some videos out comparing it to the iPhone in direct sunlight and the difference is remarkable

@dzine2fit-if youre going to upgrade from your CLIQ dont go for the mytouch slide, although it is really nice and has the QWERTY keyboard, youll love the nexus one. i have the newest 1.2 mytouch which i love, but i wish i could have the N1 so bad.

Get the Nexus One its a 1GHZ processor and a great phone, my wife has it I'm still stuck with my G1 for a couple more months!

The Nexus One is available from Vodafone for free (with contract).
If T-mobile gets the phone, I sure hope it will be cheaper. Vodafone link
T-Mobile already has the phone, you just are forced to buy it online, meaning you are stuck with the options they give you, and if the system rejects your purchase, then you're basically done. Regardless to how mean some people can be, they are always more sympathetic than a cold system. If this was sold in stores, there is no doubt about it that I would have had this phone at least 3 weeks after it's release.

Your comment doesn't make sense to me.
T-mobile USA does NOT have the phone, Google does through their webstore. Purchases are made through Google and delivered by Google. T-mobile doesn't have any power over the Nexus One since its not in their inventory. Google stated they will start delivering phones to retailers to be sold individually which is why vodafone and other companies are selling the nexus one directly.

Vodafone offers the phone cheaper now its in their inventory (free) so i am hoping once the N1 is in T-mobile's inventory the price will also drop.

I was under the impression since the website said AT&T and T-Mobile that those two companies had the phone under their system, just weren't selling them in the stores.
