any advise on screen protector ?

nope.. but i can say what not to buy... zagg invisible shield... their a cool company and all but their screen protectors just aren't worth the 20 bucks you pay for each...

Yea search amazon, I got a matte one that really works well while outside and I have little to no glare. But it does make pictures look less HD? Lessens quality while you look through it lol.

Yeah matte protectors interfere with the parralax barrier on our phones.

I use the one that came with my Seidio Convert case...my question is if anyone knows how to get them on without the bubbles? I have tried everything with no luck.

I would try youtube, think I saw a video that someone added water to the screen protector and when placed they squeezed it out and was perfect.

Water? I would think dangerous for the phone...

As long as you don't soak the phone it's fine, a few drops of water will allow you to squeeze all of the air bubbles out of a static protector. I personally only use wet application protectors, as long as you don't use Zagg's, which are seriously overpriced and have a bad orange peel look plus they are extremely sticky.

you can get over the sticky thing after a few days... just put it on and break it in by using it for 3 days...

To get rid of bubbles: clean screen with micro fiber cloth. Take a piece of scotch tape and stick it to every section of the screen and screen protector (bottom side that will contact screen). Apply screen protector and use a firm card to remove any remaining bubbles. This has worked flawless for me every time.

The bubbles are caused by small particles (mainly dust) that trap air. Scotch tape removes them

Or stick some scotch tape on the end of a pen and remove the dust particles that cause the air bubbles.

I bought cheap 1 dollar ones but they suck. looking for some better ones. Any advices?
Give them a day or two to break in, but options are actually pretty limited, personally, I like the cheapies.

Used mine for a week and it was every bit as sticky.

Read the box, it even says "Extra grip" as a feature. Not something you want with Swype.

These are great. Each one in its own sleeve with a microfiber clothe and a little plastic applicator

Clean the screen really good (do this somewhere clean cause dust is frickin attracted to these screens lol)

Peel the protective film from one side

Then I sort of arc the protector long ways
Start at the bottom middle of the screen and work any bubbles to the sides
And just slowly meticulously work your way to the top

Remove the outer protective film from the top very carefully so the screen protector doesn't come off with it

Wipe it down real good and you won't even know its there

Go slow and you will get a perfect application

Looks like I have to buy a new plain screen protector lol. I got the mirror one because it looked like a really nice plus to my phone, and the matte one, I didn't even know it was matte until after I installed it since it came with my phone case. xD

With the parallax barrier we only have half of the horizontal resolution for each eye and anything that blocks the light just doesn't look right.

thanks, guys. i took the advises on no matte, no zagg, and yes cheap ones. bought a 3 dollar 6 pack from amazon ( last time spent 1 dollar on a 5 park with free shipping... from ebay). will report back results.

Ok .... I'm a little late to the party - hehe. (I just got my EVO V.) But I went with a Skinomi screen protector. At first it looked like crap. But after waiting the recommended 24 hours, it really looks great. Amazon has them for around $10 shipped.

i think i know which one u r talking about. it looks like just one screen protector in there, which is probably why i didn't buy it . i like to be able to switch to new ones when current one is scratched up, so i went with a 5 pack.

The thing about wet application screen protectors is that it's more like a membrane instead of a piece of plastic so that they don't scratch very easily. I bought 2 from eBay and still have the original with no marks on it after almost 6 months.
