Help Any alternative way to std "swipe" to answer

The standard "Swipe" to answer or decline calls is sometimes difficult to manage (i.e., does not respond to swipes), and occasional calls are missed. Is there any alternative way (or app) to answer calls? Do not to want have calls answered merely by 'lifting the phone'. Thanks for your input!

Lifting the phone does not answer the phone. Lifting the phone to a normal phone position next to your ear will result in an answer function though. I use it all the time. What a great smartphone feature.

Hi it sounds like you have the same problem that I had, I'm new to HTC coming from samsung. But what I was doing when I picked up the phone to answer it part of my hand was touching the edge of the screen and I mean very very slightly, I think its because the screen is so so close the the edge of the phone you can't help it, or as my wife has just said its because I have fat hands. But I tried different things but found it when I held the phone with my thumb on the bottom and my middle finger on the top of the phone, then got some one to ring me and it worked fine. So I have now trained my self to hold the more in my palm and less of the side of my hand. But if you try this and it doesn't work then I don't know
