Any Android browser capable of using Apple's Find My iPhone yet ?!?!

One of the things that I LOVE about a windows tablet is there are no compromises, I can do anything with no limitations. For example, I can pull up icloud and use Find my iphone and it works perfectly.

In my past experience none of the Android browsers were capable of displaying and using Find My iPhone, I tried most of them and did a lot of research on it. But this was a year or more ago and I was curious if anything had changed. I'd like to very much consider an Android phone, but I cannot lose Find my iphone, my wife will never ever give up her iphone, and with an 18 month old we like to know where we are in case of emergency.

Has anyone recently been successful in getting Find my iphone to work in any Android browser, or any other solution?

Google also has Android Device Manager which supposedly shows your phone's location on Google Maps when you go to the right site and login.

I say 'supposedly' because the darn thing has never worked for me and I have a stock Nexus 4 (i.e. the latest Google phone with the latest version of Android).

Android Device Manager would require the phone you're looking for to be an Android :P

His wife is set on having an iPhone for whatever reason(it's cute?)

ADM does work for me, it takes a minute, but it always finds my Nexus.

It works for my Droid X, Droid Bionic, and Droid Maxx. There is some configuration you need to do on your phone and in Google.

In addition to locating the phone you can send a request from the PC to ring the phone for 5 minutes or until someone touches it. If pre-configured you can also send a request from the PC to perform a Factory Data Reset.

Have a read of this thread. There are HTC One/Galaxy Note users reporting that using their default browsers in "Desktop mode" works, and others who have had success with Dolphin HD and Puffin.

I find the Dolphin HD browser and last released Adobe Flash APK work for pretty much 99% of the websites out there.

The device manager works, I've tried it and it's simple and works great. Finds your phone within 20 ft on google maps!

Aha!

I've been trying to get it to work on the office browser which - like all office browsers - is from somewhere close to the digital stoneage. Just tried it in Firefox on my lappie and guess what: it works :D
