I was checking out the Optimus T (T-Mobile) & S (Sprint) reviews on engadget mobile, and noticed a markedly better PQ and 640x480 resolution on what seems to be an inferior sensor to the HTC Hero. Optimus T is slightly better due to LG's camera app (further validating that the Hero is crippled only by software in video recording).
So, I am assuming this is due to Froyo and would like to know; for thos of you running the beta nightlies etc. of Froyo on your HTC Hero, how is the camcorder quality? Are you still gimped at QVGA? Is the sound encoded better?
