Help Any app that can do this?

Hi there

This is my first time using the forum so not sure if I've put this in the right place.

Anyway, I've tried searching high and low but I can't find what I'm looking for.

I'm looking for an app that allows me to both download music (free) and play music which is already in my SD card. In other words I don't want to have to have an app to download music, and an app to play music.

It's hard to explain but I need an app that ideally allows me to search for and download MP3s to my device, then play the downloaded MP3s AND the music already on my SD in one big library.

Theres probably an easier way or something but I've just returned to android after having an iPhone for a couple of years so just getting the hang of it again.

Free as in Piracy or free as in stuff that isn't copyrighted?

I'm pretty sure Deezers free service allows you to download music for listening offline and let's you listen to it within the app. Not sure if any of the other streaming services offer a similar function.

Does Google Music allow you to play the songs from your sd card?

Not sure, I've not used it in an age.

You could upload your own collection to your Play Music library, then redownload via the Play app (it's a long way of doing it).
