any app to control android from pc without root

i spend alot of time on my laptop and was wondering if there is an app that i can use to control my phone from my laptop. i mean everything. like if a text message comes in i want to be able to see it and answer if on my laptop. any advice would be helpful thanks in advance

try doing a search for MyPhoneExplorer does the job for me. easy to read texts and along with the usual things, checking the calendar, setting alarms, backing up contacts and call logs
