Any apps I try to open shuts down automatically?

I have a Samsung Intercept and I installed ADW Launcher a week ago. Just yesterday and today, sometimes any app I open (Contacts, messaging, web, gmail, facebook, etc) just opens for a quick second then closes by itself. The only way I can temporarily remedy this situation is to restart my phone. And the apps work fine again. But after a few tries, it goes back to shutting down apps and bringing me to the main menu on my phone. What is the cause of this? Is it ADW Launcher?

try a hard reset, remove battery and wait like thirty seconds. try it again. if that doesnt work, uninstall ADW Launcher and give it another go.
