Any Chance of root

Is there any chance that the AT&T model of this phone will receive a root ever? I'm at my wits end with this piece of crap. The only way I could handle it is with a root. I can't have a $945 phone that freezes 20+ times a day because of all the AT&T bloat.

Same here on verizon it's super slow and go figure all the bloat ware can't be deleted...
Same, I have it on Verizon as well and literally can't stand how darn slow and laggy it gets sometimes. I expected better from a high-end Android phone and will never buy a Samsung phone again when my contract is up.

Unfortunately with carrier version devices, you're often at their mercy, as it's them who decide about and push any updates for their locked, customized and usually subsidized phones. So you could consider Samsung, or HTC, etc, but not one supplied by Big Red or whatever. :thumbsupdroid: ...same for the OP's AT&T one.
