I've already tried the sticky solution, didn't help much.Stick a note on the inside of your door "Check your lights!". Or wire a buzzer into the lighting circuit that comes on when the door is opened and lights are on. As for an app, how would your phone know you've stopped the car to get out? Maybe you've stopped in heavy traffic.
Thanks. But how the LOCATION trigger would help to indicate "end of driving"?Have a look at AutomateIt at the Play$tore.
Create a new rule which TRIGGERS on LOCATION, and the ACTION taken is to create a NOTIFICATION to turn off your lights.
A great little free app, which I use all the time.
... The buzzer idea sound interesting, I consider giving it a try someday. ....

I wish it was also the standard in Israel..I suggested it as many cars have this feature as standard (at least here in the UK).
Unfortnately no..but thanks for your offer!Does your car have bluetooth? If so, you could use the 'macrodroid app' to notify you when your cars bluetooth goes off when you switch the ingition off. Car bluetooth off, play speach text 'lights on', set it to operate at certain times of the day.
If you don't mind using a charger on your phone while in the car, you could set up a new rule which:
1) TRIGGERS on CHARGING STOPPED (when you turn off the car ignition), and
2) the ACTION taken is to create a NOTIFICATION to turn off your lights.

Just needs to condition it properly to account for that. It's do-able.You'd get notified every time you stopped in traffic or something.
- Speedometer apps use GPS and GPS uses a LOT of energy/battery (and Roi doesn't always keep his/her phone plugged in).
