any one else live around los angeles?
or anyone know where i can find a prl specific for my area?
i currently have sprints prl 01115 but its not working great for me. and the boost prl suck even more. i just want a prl that will give me a good solid signal. i had found some hybrid ones that were modified and had both sprint and verizon prls but when i tried cdma workshop it said it was an invalid prl file.

Sprint updated 01115 to 01120. I'm currently on the 20 version and its working pretty good here in N.C. I ran into the same problem with the hybrid files too.

will that one work in L.A?
i asked sprint but they didnt want to tell me. he said prls are specific to each phone. he said he would only tell me if i gave him a sprint phone model and phone number. and that prls are updated through the phone. i told him i wanted to flash it from my pc to my boost phone and he just said to ask boost. i told him he was worthless lol il try that one thanks

update: prl 01120 didnt work either. it says its not a valid prl. i did flash 01119 tho

Trying to go through Boost Customer Service is like trying to pull teeth from an awake lion.... LOL

I would actually look around a little bit more to find another link to the 001120. It's probably one of the better Sprint prl's out there. I've been meaning to set up my mediafire account anyway. I'm at work now, but off tommorow, so as soon as I figure everything out, I'll send you a link to 001120 and a few of the others that I have.

Have you tried updating your profile in the settings on the phone?

Can you please tell me how you'll are getting these PRLs and how to update your phone with them? I am still on Boost's PRL. I'd greatly appreciate it.

I posted a link to a site over on the Do T-Mobile PRLs work on Boost? thread. Just check out my last post and it will lead you to what you seek as far as prls go.

You have to use CDMA WORKSHOP to update to a custom prl, but let me warn you, Workshop CAN brick your phone if you mess up on the settings.

All the newest prl's work the same in my area.... probably because boost does not roam....

I've noticed that the Sprint buisness prl's 01115 and above seem to register towers better than the regular prl's. Maybe it's a placebo effect, but either way I'll stay with them.

Where can I get CDMA Workshop? It looks to me like it's not freeware. Do you HAVE to buy it? LOL.

i noticed yesterday that the 01120 prl gives you slightly slower download speeds than the boost prl.

Here locally in NC, it improved my download speeds dramatically. I'm wondering if there is a newer update though. The reception hasn't been as good over the past several days. Hopefully I'll be able to go online tonight (my neighbor accidentally cut the underground cable line yesterday while using a backhoe) and check into it.

my phone sucks :{
whats nam2 prl for? i flashed some there but see no difference. can some one with great signal extract the prls from their phones and send them to me? just save them as nam1 and nam2 so i know what goes where.
