Any good simple medication reminder apps?

I need an app for some heart and other medications I take at various times in the day. I take multiple medications at each time, 3 times a day. Is there an app that will chime pleasantly 3 times a day until I enter some password/PIN?

MedHelper is not right for me since you have to enter every single prescription.

Well I haven't seen that password/PIN part in Astrid. Sometimes I wish alarms and notifications were smarter, when I don't hear one, they should just continue nagging - ring for a minute, be silent for five, repeat; that would be nice for important Gmail labels like the ones used for messages for "server crashed".

Astrid already does that even without a password as long as you dont mark it complete. It will ring on a predefined schedule.

I was on 3 different meds last winter. 4 hours, 6 hours and 12. It was impossible to keep track so I used

and was able to program and name each timer for each med and it was a matter of pressing restart to start the timer over again. You can choose a custom notification for it, and it was funny because every time it went off my 4 year old would come running and want to play nurse.

The timer went off until I hit stop or restarted it, so if it was out of my hearing range I would eventually hear it.

Hi fulloflove,
Yes, you should take a look at OnTimeRx. You can list all of your meds or lump them together for a simple "Take Pills Now" reminder whenever and as often as you need it. Very flexible scheduling. Extremely easy to set up.
