Help Any idea what this is?

Along the top of the screen, there seems to be some kind of residue / dust.
It starts right above the left side of the earpiece, then goes a couple of cm to the left. The same thing is on the right, but there's nothing right above the earpiece.

I admit from the photo it doesn't look too bad, but it's more noticeable in real life, I just couldn't get a decent pic :-)

Has anyone else got this? It won't move with a thumbnail or the corner of a piece of paper, and I think it's either under the screen, or I'm looking through the screen to the inside of the bezel.

Taking it back is probably not an option as it's rooted.

Hi Toosploos. No it's above the edge of the screen protector, I've replaced the attached photo with one highlighting the area I mean.

Ah, I was looking too low.
This seem not normal. When I look at my phone the front seems to be higher than the outside band of the casing. Yours looks to sink in.
If youre still on warranty, I would consider using it.

Hi Valorian, yes thats what I'm wondering and also what I'm hoping too :-)

Hi Toosploos, it must just be the photo because my screen is definitely raised out compared to the bezel. The gap between the screen and the bezel also seems very tight, I can't even really get the corner of a piece of paper in there

I came across that thread when I was searching. I don't think this is the case as there's no movement in the bezel and it's very tight against the edge of the screen

Well I just found someone else with a blue gs3 and they don't have this on their phone.

Having said that there's definitely no movement at all on my bezel, and I can't even get the corner of a sticky note 1mm in the join so it's pretty tight.

I guess it must have been made this way and I didn't notice it.
