Any malware full system scanners?

I'm looking for a malware scanner I can run manually that will scan my galaxy s blaze (ICS) phone.

All of the apps I have seen only scan apps and sd card. I want to scan all phone files.

If anyone knows of any please reply.

Thanks.

Really I don't think you would need one as long as you aren't side loading apps from unknown sources or downloading shady ones from the Playstore. If you do however want one there's Avast which is nice.

Avast only scans apps (last time I looked).

I'm looking for full phone scanner.

Heres the deal though (im on my phone so cant go into too much detail) :

Malware apps dont have access to the system because all android apps are sandboxed.

It also follows that antivirus apps cannot access the system for the same reasons.
It requires root to get to the system level.

If your phone is not rooted, then there will be no need to scan the entire system as the malware wouldn't have permission to access the system files.

If you are rooted, you'd still need to elevate privileges. And, if you do suspect an intrusion on a rooted device, a simple flash back to stock or a restore from a clean nonadroid backup would take care of the problem. That's probably why there hasn't been a big rush for full system scanning.

I understand.

Thanks everyone.
