Any new phones coming, that we know of?

The LG Styling, which has been available for Boost, is now also available for Virgin Mobile. Another budget/midrange offering, but the big screen and stylus distinguish it from the other phones in the lineup.

At least the website isn't quite as bare as it was over the summer. It's an odd mix, though; all those budget devices, the S5, and the out-of-stock iPhones. It still looks like there isn't a clear plan for VM at this point.

Has anyone tried the new Moto G?
Also, if I switch phones am I at risk of losing my grandfathered plan, $35: unlimited T,T,2.5 GB data?

I have not tried the Moto G but I sent the same question to customer service. Here is the reply:

"Thanks for contacting Virgin Mobile Customer Care.

We are always pleased to assist you with any inquiry that you may have
regarding the plans that you can activate on your account.

Since you mentioned that your plan is a Beyond talk plan which includes
$35 UNL Talk/Text/Data 2.5GB + Data-free Music, Beyond phones such as
Moto G 3rd Generation is compatible with that plan. But for us to check
if that phone is compatible with your account, please reply to this
email your 6 digit account PIN for us to pull up your account and to
provide you with more detailed and accurate information.

If you cannot remember your six digit PIN, you may also provide the
answer to the backup question that you set up when you first activated
the account, which is: (deleted)

If you need additional assistance, feel free to let us know how we can
assist further or contact us at 1-888-322-1122 (or *86 from a Virgin
Mobile handset). You can reach us Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM ?
10:00 PM CST, Saturday and Sunday from 6:00 AM - 9:00 PM CST. As a kind
reminder, always make sure to include your Virgin Mobile phone number
and PIN on all replies.

Thanks,

So, the phone is compatible with the plan, but may not be compatible with a particular account? That doesn't even make sense. Trust Virgin Mobile to excessively complicate things.
