Any news with updates???

I'm sorry but an official update for this phone is very unlikely.
But we have a great community full of developers that have already gotten Jelly Bean (Android 4.1) working for our phones.

Intercept went from Eclair to Froyo
Optimus V went from 2.2.1 to 2.2.2
Wildfire S got TWO maintenance updates.

Evo V already has had 2 PRL updates, something we never got with any of the above I don't think.

Oh! I didn't see my mistake. Thanks thebryceee! lol I'm embarrassed for my lack of knowledge on updates for Virgin's devices.

Like it or not, the fact is that if you're expecting updates, yo need an Apple device. iPhones are the only devices you can truly count on getting free updates on (without modding). It's sad but true, you're lucky to get one decent update on most Android phones. So far, Apple has been good with keeping their older devices up to date, the 2010 iPhone 4 is still being updated and I believe the 2009 3GS is too. This is by far one of my biggest complaints about Android phones, they need to give us updates. We shouldn't have to do risky mods just to get an up to date OS. Sometimes they don't even release bug fixes for months, if ever.

The EVO V has a radio software bug, causing Error 64 Class 2. It's well documented, and the more people complain to HTC about it, the more gets done. I wouldn't call rooting and ROMing risky ;)
