Root Any one try this yet?

NM the steps are almost all the same.

I just got a little excited on thies step. I was assuming clockwork was available now.

Step 14.
In successful, you should see Clockwork Recovery.
 
I think most of us have given this method a shot more or less. I know that I have tried many times just leaving the phone in recovery (not showing in devices) and unplugging and plugging back in the usb cord to no avail.
