I'm using a Galaxy S4, which comes from the factory with a 2A charger. I'm using a 1A charger, which does fully charge the battery, and unlike a Galaxy S3 charger I tried, this charger does not give a warning about long charge time due to lower amp charger.
So, apart from longer charging time (which I'm ok with because I charge overnight), is there any downside to using a lower amp charger? I'm thinking there might be a slight benefit to a slower charge, but mostly I just want to make sure there's no downside.

For example, when I'm driving in my car and have NAV on, screen on, BT paired up, picking up occasional calls, etc. - 1A charger will not be able to keep up with a drain of all the running apps and you really need 2A for that. Other than that, shouldn't be an issue.
